Senior Highs meet – 1st and 3rd Wednesdays 7:00 – 9:00 pm with Don Bailey, Praise Band Director for 30 years!! They play guitar and eat!! See calendar for their service of praise and communion for the congregation on May 1st! The excitement of the youth for their activities can be seen in the intensity of their faces as they learn to play the guitar and eat pizza! (See March 16th rehearsal pictures)
The After-School Program began in January of 2001. It is a program which serves children from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The schedule includes snack, working on homework and outside play. Children are expected to bring work from school, or work on materials provided by our Wake County licensed teachers. Several other youth-worker certified volunteers assist each week to make this a successful program. Computers and an extensive library are available to the
Come join us as youth auction people's services in three hour blocks. The money raised will be used to offset campership expenses.
The Youth are having a Spaghetti Dinner to raise money for camperships. Two sittings for dinner: 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. $10 for adults, $6 for children 10 and under; under age 5 free. See one of the youth or youth leaders for tickets or phone 919-244-8243.
